Walterhoope stands with the protesters in Cincinnati, Columbus, and around the country marching for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and all victims of police and racial violence. It is not enough to be against racism; we must be actively anti-racist, and the work must continue until there is justice for all our Black siblings. As an arts organization, we commit ourselves to the work of uplifting Black voices and stories, supporting Black artists, and celebrating Black joy. For those interested in educating themselves and taking action, we have found these resources useful:

Places to donate:
Official George Floyd Memorial Fund
Cincinnati Bail Fund (through Beloved Community Church)

Resources to learn:
Anti-racism resources
A New Era of Public Safety

Actions to take:
Black Lives Matter
Anguish and Action
75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice

Dedicated to treating our
audiences like family.

What is Walterhoope?

Walterhoope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts company dedicated to crafting events that blur the lines between our audiences and our artists. Our programming consists of stories that we feel are worth telling and worth telling now. Theatre, film, culinary arts, photography, poetry, you name it, we choose the most appropriate lens for the story at hand.

We couldn't do it without you.
